Saint Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;
and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host -
by the Divine Power of God -
cast into hell, satan and all the evil spirits,
who roam throughout the world seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen.
How is this related to Catholic Apologetics?
Christian’s who have been secularized tend to have a hard time with the idea of Satan. This belief comes straight from Christ.
Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell. (Matthew 10:28)To be ashamed of the belief of the reality of Satan is to be ashamed of Christ’s teachings.

Have you asked your girls what they think this prayer means? I'm interested to know. I think it's a great prayer for all of us to say.
